Time Visualization

The Time Visualization feature allows you to see the time representation of each race segment graphically, providing a clear overview of participants' progress. This tool uses a bar graph, with distinct colors representing different race segments for each competitor, making it an excellent resource for spotting discrepancies such as missed laps or incorrect times.

The graph is particularly useful when working with at least one intermediate checkpoint, as it provides real-time updates of each participant's current status during the race. It’s a great way to monitor the race visually and gain a comprehensive understanding of each competitor's performance.

To access the Time Visualization feature, navigate to the segments menu and click on the race you want to visualize. Ensure that the race has at least one segment created.

Key Features of Time Visualization:

  • Stacked or Separate Bar Representation: You can switch between seeing stacked bars or separate bars for each segment, allowing you to tailor the visualization to your needs.

  • Segment Selection: Turn on or off individual segments to focus only on the data you want to analyze.

  • Tooltip Information: Hovering over a bar reveals more details about the participant, including times for each segment.

  • Edit Participant Data: By double-clicking on a bar, you can open the edit participant view, making it easy to modify participant details directly from the visualization.

  • Switch to Table View: Easily toggle to a table view to see the same information in a more traditional data grid format.

Real-Time Monitoring

This screen updates automatically in real time with race data, providing an ideal overview for data monitoring during live races. It allows users to observe the evolving status of each competitor, making it especially valuable for race-day operations where having a complete, real-time overview is crucial.

The Time Visualization feature ensures that you’re equipped with the tools to spot and address issues like missed laps, incorrect times, or any anomalies, ultimately helping to ensure smooth race timing and management.
