The Diploma Designer feature allows you to create personalized diplomas for your event participants directly within the RUFUS Cloud platform. You can generate different diplomas for each race within an event or a general diploma applicable to the entire event. This diplomas will be available for download through the RUFUS Event App, visible in their detailed participants race results.

Accessing the Diploma Designer

  1. Go to your event in the RUFUS Cloud platform.

  2. Navigate to the Diplomas tab in the event details.

  3. Click on the Create diploma button to add a new diploma.

This will create an empty diploma entry in your diploma list.

Designing Your Diploma

To begin designing your diploma:

  1. Hover over your newly created diploma and click the edit button (pencil icon).

  2. The Diploma Designer will open in a new window. Note: The Diploma Designer is optimized for desktop use only.

Uploading Background Images

  • Upload your background image by clicking the upload area.

  • Supported file formats: PNG or JPG, with a maximum file size of 3MB.

Adding Dynamic Fields

You can customize your diploma with dynamic fields that will be completed with participants data when the diploma is generated. Simply drag and drop the desired fields onto your diploma design. Available fields are:

  • Name

  • Lastname

  • Gender

  • Age group

  • Club

  • Team

  • Bib

  • Race

  • Racetime

  • Pace

  • Global rank

  • Gender rank

  • Age group rank

Custom Text Fields

In addition to dynamic fields, you can add custom text fields to personalize your diplomas further.

Styling Fields

All fields are fully customizable:

  • Fonts: Multiple fonts available.

  • Size: Choose from different sizes.

  • Colors: Customize the text color.

Saving and Previewing

Once satisfied with your diploma:

  • Click the save button to store your design.

  • Click the preview & download icon to preview and review your diploma design.

Publishing Diplomas

When your diploma is ready:

  • Toggle the Published button in the diploma list.

Once published, the diploma will be accessible to participants through the RUFUS Event App, visible in their detailed race results.
