The Devices List page in RUFUS Cloud provides a comprehensive overview of all the timing devices associated with your company account. This includes RUFUS CloudBox, RUFUS Timing Apps, and custom devices integrated via the Public API. All devices are shown in a single screen in card format, providing a clean and organized layout to help you manage your timing operations effectively.
To access the Devices List, click on the Devices link in the navigation bar.
Each device is represented in card format on the Devices List page, with key information displayed for easy reference. This page allows you to quickly assess device status, availability, and activity in real time. The devices may include:
RUFUS CloudBox: Our specialized hardware timing device.
RUFUS Timing App: Our native timing app for mobile devices.
Custom Devices: Integrated through the RUFUS Public API, allowing you to use your own timing solutions.
Each device card contains the following information:
Device Alias: The name or alias given to the device (e.g., "CloudBox #00001" or "Timing App Nokia"). This helps you easily identify each device.
Device Status: Indicates whether the device is currently Available or actively being used in an event, in that case, indicating the event name. This helps you understand which devices are currently associated with specific events.
Session Information: The number of sessions available on the device. This tells you how many timing sessions have been recorded and can be accessed from that device.
Last Passing: Displays the last passing time from the device, giving you a sense of recent activity (e.g., "Last passing 14 hours ago").
Battery Level, CPU Temperature, and Connection Status: For CloudBox devices, you can see additional information such as the current battery level, CPU temperature, and whether the device is online, offline or actively reading tags.
Location Information: Devices such as CloudBox, RUFUS Timing App, and custom devices that send latitude and longitude information along with passings will display a location icon. Clicking the map icon will take you to the device's location on Google Maps, providing precise positioning.
Device Model and Serial Number: The device model and serial number are displayed for all devices on the header of the card, allowing for easier identification and tracking of each unit.
All the information shown on the Devices List page is displayed in real time, ensuring that you always have the most up-to-date status of your devices. Whether you're managing a CloudBox or a custom integrated timing device, you can see the latest status and passing data instantly.
